What Our Patients Say

As a group therapist, it has been rewarding to see the relationships formed among group members and how peer support, encouragement and accountability propels members towards their individual recovery goals.

P. Thornhill

My life has changed in such a positive way because of Dr. Kumar and the Suboxone program. I struggled for years with opiates and a friend told me about Dr. Kumar. I was surprised at the great compassion I was shown when I came for my first visit. I was not used to being in a non judgmental environment. Dr. Kumar and his staff are amazing. The Suboxone program has helped me get my life back on track.

Faith

This program has freed life for myself and my family by not chasing the next high but our next memory! Staying sober is worth every second.

This is a miracle drug and group. I have never felt this ‘free’ in years. Nothing ever could control me like the pain killers did ! Now I am my old self again.

A.

The doctor is great and cares about the patient as a person, not a number. Staff is like second family. Everyone cares and is genuinely invested in treatment.

J.

My experience with this office has been great! Before starting the program I had never heard of any medication that works this great for addiction. I have had no urges to take any drugs since I started taking Suboxone. For anyone who is ready to take the step of truly quitting the drug cycle, I highly recommend starting a program with Suboxone. You can finally begin a very stable life and you can function normally at all times. Thanks to Suboxone, I have kept my same professional career for the past 18 years. I honestly don’t know where I would have ended up without this medication.

Suboxone® (Buprenorphine)

Like methadone, Suboxone® (buprenorphine) works to reduce the strong craving and reduce the discomfort of withdrawal symptoms. Unlike methadone, however, Suboxone is prescribed in a doctor’s office rather than in a clinic. Suboxone occupies the same way that drugs of addiction occupy – but there is no high associated with Suboxone. Comprehensive Suboxone Maintenance Program includes medical intervention.
